CORSIA’s Monitoring, Reporting and Verification system and related tools
13m
This video provides information on CORSIA’s Monitoring, Reporting and Verification system (MRV), through which ICAO compiles accurate information on CO2 emissions from international flights for the purpose of CORSIA implementation. The video explains the basics of the so-called “monitoring cycle” that aeroplane operators have to undertake under CORSIA on an annual basis. The video also reflects the main CORSIA reporting lines between States, operators and ICAO, and the process of verification of CO2 emissions data. The video also presents the ICAO CORSIA CO2 Estimation and Reporting Tool (CERT), and the CORSIA Central Registry (CCR).
