This video provides information on how the use of CORSIA Eligible Fuels (CEF) can lead to the reduction of CO2 offsetting requirements in CORSIA. Information is provided on the different types of CEF and related feedstock and production processes. Special attention is paid to ICAO’s work on a definition of sustainability criteria applicable to CEF, and on the process for the certification of CEF compliance with these criteria. The video also explains the ICAO procedures for the calculation of CEF’s life cycle emissions.
