Addressing Inadmissible Persons, Deportees, Refugees and Stateless Persons
This session will highlight the importance of handling inadmissible persons and deportees in a
respectful manner and discuss the specific issues preventing refugees and stateless persons from
accessing travel documents. It will discuss policies relating to inadmissible persons, deportees,
refugees and Stateless persons, including issuance of ICAO Doc 9303 compliant MRTDs for refugees
and stateless persons by all countries. It will also discuss innovation aspects for the shaping of future
practices for the issuance of travel documents to refugees and Stateless persons.
