Addressing Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration
This Session is intended to highlight feasible solutions to identify suspected incidents of trafficking in
persons through civil aviation and the necessary coordination across State agencies, among States,
and with stakeholders, including airport and aircraft operators. The Session will discuss the protocols
to follow for clear lines of reporting to law enforcement agencies on suspected or actual cases of
trafficking in persons, and the implementation of appropriate training of airport and aircraft operators’
personnel in direct contact with the travelling public.
