This webinar introduces the key changes to the latest edition of the PBN manual, expected to be published in Q4 2022. The revised edition introduces a number of clarifications and changes based on the experience of PBN implementation since Edition 4 was published in 2013.
Along with many clarifications on subjects such as the use of RF legs and holding capabilities, significant changes are introduced into the Advanced RNP navigation specification – such as the removal of RNP scalability and the exclusion of the final approach segment – and the introduction of RNP AR Departures (DP) into a new combined RNP AR Chapter.
The webinar is presented by the lead authors of the revised text, who will provide first-hand knowledge and rationales for the changes.
