Facilitating the Future of Air Transport Facilitation
This session delves on the contribution of air transport facilitation to the growth of the aviation industry,
exploring innovative approaches that can drive progress towards a more sustainable development of
civil aviation. It will discuss the capacity for expansion at airports to meet traffic growth, forecasting
demand, and effective management of flow arrangements to ensure the improvement of terminal
traffic-handling from the standpoint of all involved stakeholders. The Session will also discuss the role
of aircraft operators and airport authorities in facilitating clearance and service operations, including
support of initiatives for simplifying passenger travel.
