The ICAO Assistance, Capacity-building and Training for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (ACT-SAF) programme was launched in June 2022 to help States develop and deploy sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). ACT-SAF activities include feasibility and business implementation studies, a series of online training sessions on ICAO TV, in-person training events and more as can be found on the ICAO ACT-SAF website.
This SkyTalk showcases a special video update to the 42nd Assembly on both the overall programme and the 30 studies announced to date with funding from various states and organizations. This is followed by an overview of key results from four recent projects in India, Jordan, Côte d'Ivoire and Chile. Finally key topics for the upcoming triennium are highlighted.
