Video Statement by Mr. Claver Gatete, Minister of Infrastructure, Rwanda, to HLCC Ministerial Plenary. Hon. Minister’s statement starts by thanking ICAO for organizing this conference and he talks about the impact on COVID-19 on the aviation sector to the global economy. The measures that have been put in place as a consequence and the measures put in place by ICAO that were helpful to Member States. Plans for recovery and where the emphasis is required for future plans in aviation industry for sustainability. Future of ICAO to regulate this and future pandemics. Requests Member States to commit on this recovery and ends by committing the Government of Rwanda’s support.
