NUCTECH VR1000 is an advanced, lightweight and portable under-vehicle inspection system with an intelligent scanning camera. Featured with remote operation via a wireless handheld device, it allows for the operator to acquire a high-resolution image and a real-time video of the whole undercarriage and easily identify smuggling operations and modifications. It also automatically captures license plate numbers to ensure each image is matched with the vehicle correctly. As a self-contained solution with no need for any supporting infrastructure or driver assistance, the robot is ideal for vehicle control inspection at airports.
