Presenter: Crystal Kim, Director of the ICAO & Global Partnerships of MOLIT
ICAO has devoted much time and energy to supporting States as they seek to implement ICAO standards and recommended practices. While States will always value being able to access additional resources to assist with implementation, there is great value too in States sharing their experiences and ideas for addressing challenges that many States face. In this Talk, we hear from the Republic of Korea's Office of Civil Aviation (KOKA), the Ministry of Land and Infrastructure and Transportation (MOLIT) about one example - a system to help manage the implementation of ICAO SARPs known as SMIS (SARPS Management System).
