The Aviation Security Audit Section is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Universal Security Audit Programme – Continuous Monitoring Approach (USAP-CMA), whose objective is to promote global aviation security. The USAP-CMA audits and monitors on an on-going basis the sustainable compliance of all Annex 17 Standards; and the Annex 9 Standards that support both border management and border security objectives.
