In this virtual meeting, Nabil Naoumi, President of Air Navigation Commission at ICAO, is joined by aviation stakeholders to discuss the challenges of water aerodromes and how ICAO can contribute to their development to ensure safe operations. The last assembly from the Air Navigation Commission instructed that ICAO develop specific design, certification, and management standards for water aerodromes to adopt. Implementing these measures in a timely manner is a priority so that States, seamen, and airmen can all benefit swiftly.
