Given the international nature of terrorism today, competent authorities must cooperate more efficiently and effectively. Law enforcement entities play a critical role in efforts to prevent terrorism and they should develop protocols and mechanisms to actively share information about potential terrorists and terrorist threats with counterparts in other Member States. This session will highlight INTERPOL’s role and other best practices in this regard.
