This session will showcase how Innovations in aviation are moving beyond airports and airspace and into an integrated multimodal transport system. Various urban concepts and applications with manned and unmanned aircraft systems have emerged these past years, supported by innovative technologies. Combined with the advent of electric and hybrid aircraft prototypes, their introduction into the air traffic management ecosystem and urban infrastructure brings interesting challenges to the air transport.
