In this video message, ICAO Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar extends an invitation to the Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) 2026, which will take place from 14 to 16 April in Marrakech, Morocco.

GISS is ICAO’s flagship event for strengthening global implementation efforts. It brings together States, industry leaders, donors, and partners to explore innovative approaches to safety, security, sustainability, and capacity building in civil aviation. Regional cooperation, infrastructure investment, and resource mobilization will be featured in the 2026 event, that is being generously hosted by Morocco’s Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
