This closing session will tackle the future of facilitation, exploring the convergence of AI, automation, and machine learning in passenger screening and border control. It will highlight efforts to standardize eVisas and interoperable barcodes, while also introducing the critical role of passenger data systems, including API and PNR, in enabling risk-based, data-driven border operations. Presentations will explore the implementation of passenger data single-window platforms, data privacy considerations, and emerging use cases for predictive analytics. The session will also examine the opportunities and challenges of integrating non-traditional data sources and AI-powered decision-making into national border strategies.
