EMERGING TRENDS and TECHNOLOGIES
Current and emerging ICAO Machine Readable Travel Document (MRTD) specifications for passports, visas and identity cards are significant tools to enhance traveller identification management, passenger processing and related border security measures. This session will provide historical context to the development of Doc 9303 specifications and also highlight the latest ePassport deployments facilitating traveller identification and movement. The speakers will provide an update on important developments of Doc 9303 and showcase two new passport deployments.
