High-resolution photospectral scanner Regula 8880
Regula 8880 is a high-resolution photospectral scanner that captures, processes, and stores document images with a resolution of 2230 ppi. The device is equipped with white, IR and UV light sources and a module for reading RFID chips. The scanner is intended for authenticity verification of identity documents. Regula 8880 is also used for distant forensic examinations when a high-resolution document image is captured with the help of the device and sent to a forensic expert. The image quality enables him to provide expert testimony on the document authenticity without having the document in his hands.
