This webinar is intended to present the Middle East Regional Aviation Safety Plan (MID-RASP), 2020-2022 edition. The MID-RASP emphasizes the importance of identifying and mitigating risks at MID Region level. The webinar will address regional aviation safety issues for the MID Region, as a continuation of the work to improve aviation safety and to comply with ICAO standards; and supports MID States and industry in achieving the goals and targets of the 2020-2022 edition of the GASP. In addition, the webinar will cover the three-year plan outlined in the MID-RASP, for States in MID Region to strengthen safety oversight capabilities and implement ICAO safety management provisions. It will also address the risk-based approach to managing safety at the regional level, through a coordinated approach and collaboration between States in the region, regional organizations and industry.
