Extended Connectivity by Loon

Billions of people around the world lack access to the internet, and many others are underserved by existing solutions. By inventing and integrating audacious aerospace and telecommunications technologies, Loon makes it possible to expand internet access to the billions currently lacking it and drive toward a key part of Sustainable Development Goal 9: universal and affordable internet access.

To date, Loon’s stratospheric balloons have safely flown more than 40 million kilometers around the world and connected hundreds of thousands of people. Loon continues working with a range of partners to enable new solutions that will meet the future’s connectivity needs.
