As the industry witnesses the rapid expansion of UAS, in terms of applications as well as spatial movement, existing economic regulatory frameworks will need to be reviewed and assessed if still relevant in light of ongoing advancements, in particular cross-border commercial operations. This SkyTalk will provide an overview of key components of economic regulation of air transport and will highlight potential considerations for the establishment of such international services, including the need for regulatory harmonization and compliance with existing ICAO policies.
