Aviation has been one of the hardest-hit industries due to the pandemic and the challenges it has brought with it are beyond the operational level. Human factors such as psychological distress, demotivation, and anxiety have arisen amongst its personnel, directly impacting aviation safety. To provide adequate support and protect the wellness of employees and the industry, Member States are encouraged to reinforce risk and safety management by raising awareness and developing a roadmap that understands the risks associated with mental health and safety.
