Mr. Noh expresses gratitude for ICAO’s leadership in responding the COVID-19 Pandemic and shares ROK’s experiences to overcome the impact of pandemic in the aviation sector in line with ICAO’s recommendations and guidelines. Mr. Noh further underlines ROK’s continuing effort to support the aviation industry in their fight against the COVID-19 by introducing various measures employed by the country, including Emergency Employment Stability Subsidy, reduced airport facility fees, and travel bubbles to help the aviation industry retain its competitiveness. He concludes his speech by assuring that ROK will remain committed to ICAO’s initiatives and its role and responsibilities in safely overcoming the pandemic crisis together.
