ATM-UTM interface: how should separator’s responsibilities be managed
DRONE ENABLE Webinar Series

1h 29m
The role of the separator is essential in conflict management. Even if temporarily delegated (cooperative separation) or in the case of distributed separation, the predetermined separator has to be identified by rules. At the current stage, no rules have been developed and separation minima between UAS themselves and between UAS and manned aviation are not available, regardless of the separator. The panel will investigate current developments on establishing separation minima and how ATM-UTM interface and boundaries will appoint correct responsibilities for ensuring the safety of operations in a mixed environment.
