Session 1 will highlight the achievements of CORSIA and will present experiences from States in the implementation of the Scheme since the inception of the Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) requirements on 1 January 2019. It will also focus on the very successful capacity-building efforts under the ICAO Assistance, Capacity-building and Training for CORSIA (ACT-CORSIA) programme, with an emphasis on the CORSIA buddy partnerships, lessons learned and possible improvements.

Session 2 will elaborate on essential components of the CORSIA package, specifically on data reporting and on upcoming challenges regarding CORSIA Eligible Fuels (CEFs) and CORSIA Eligible Units (CEUs). It will also provide the opportunity to discuss the need for more capacity-building under the ICAO ACT-CORSIA programme.
